If you and Dr. Alfredson decide to move forward with surgery after your consultation, our team will quickly arrange all the necessary details. You will receive a scheduled date for your surgery based on availability and your preferences.

Along with your surgery date, you’ll receive a comprehensive surgical pack that will guide you through the process. This pack includes:

Pre-Op & Post-Op Appointments:
A detailed schedule of all required appointments before and after the surgery, helping you keep track of consultations, follow-ups, and any additional tests.

Post-Op Instructions:
Personalized guidelines for post-surgery care, including wound care, medication, activity restrictions, and what to watch for in terms of complications.

What to Bring to the Hospital:
A checklist of items to bring on the day of your surgery, such as personal hygiene products, comfortable clothing, and any necessary medical documents.

Surgical Quote:
An estimate of the surgery costs, including any potential extra expenses, payment options, and insurance information.

Information on the Condition Being Treated:
Educational materials on the condition being addressed, including its causes, symptoms, and expected outcomes.

Admission Details:
Information about your hospital admission, including check-in time and location, pre-admission procedures, and contact details for any questions.

One week after your surgery, our clinic nurse will reach out to check on your progress and address any immediate concerns or questions you may have. This follow-up call is designed to ensure that your recovery is on track and to offer any necessary support during the early stages of healing.

Approximately two weeks post-surgery, you will have appointments scheduled with both our practice nurse and Dr. Alfredson. These visits will provide a comprehensive evaluation of your recovery, including an examination to assess your healing and address any issues that may have emerged since your procedure.

Please be aware that the timing of these follow-up appointments may vary based on the specifics of your surgery and the required post-operative care. If your situation necessitates a different schedule, we will adjust accordingly to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
